Author Biography

Jesse Gordon has been the editor-in-chief of OnTheIssues.org since its formation in 1999. His passion revolves around providing issue-based coverage on political races, to combat the mainstream media's growing lack of such coverage. Mr. Gordon holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. He and the website OnTheIssues.org are based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Gordon's politics are, on the VoteMatch chart, a libertarian-leaning progressive (upper left quadrant). He is a registered Independent, but has voted for Democrats, Republicans, Greens, and Libertarians. He was the founder of both the Progressive Democrats of Cambridge, and the Harvard University Libertarian Caucus. His most important political values are open government, as reflected in the open issues concept underlying the OnTheIssues website.
