A deceased resident. A missing will. Can one astutely observant librarian spot a twisty plot before someone gets away with murder?
Davison City, Minnesota. 1969. Beth Williams is curious as a cat. So, the thirty-year-old Library Sciences Master's candidate is stunned to hear that an elderly lady she's been delivering stories to for years has suddenly passed on. And when the woman's nurse hints at the possibility of foul play, the inquisitive grad student feels compelled to investigate.
Pulling her clever best friend into the case, Beth remembers noticing several odd changes in the benevolent patron's house during her last visits. But every string they pull creates another suspect until the sharp-eyed young women fear they'll never identify the true culprit.
Can they navigate a labyrinth of buried secrets and uncover the truth?
Flood of Memories is the lighthearted second book in the Beth and Evie historical cozy mystery series. If you like amateur-sleuthing duos, atmospheric small towns, and classic whodunits, then you'll love Bonnie Oldre's nostalgic enigma.
