A playful story about a Hawaiian sea turtle (honu in Hawaiian) that has the distinctive characteristic of red hair growing from the top of his head. He has many interesting adventures in and around the island of Hawaii, in the Hawaiian Islands. Although he interacts with many creatures of the sea in this tale, he has a close friend, a monk seal named Molly, who he plays with the most. Danger arises when a shark (mano in Hawaiian) threatens them.
