Our book is not meant to capture an all-inclusive history; rather, it strives to preserve some of our heritage. Dependent on contributors, it is therefore, like a potlatch or patchwork quilt. We retell their stories before they are lost to memory. We acknowledge our Canadian Government's financial support. Limerick Township and Area History Bits was funded by the Federal Government's New Horizons for Seniors. "Yeah for Federal Funding!" Our book is told by seniors and written by seniors. To quote a senior, here is the late Ross Reid's famous toast to seniors, "Here's to Us. Nothing Like Us. Darn few!"
