Hans F. Bayer, PhD, is Professor of New Testament at Covenant Theological Seminary, Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. Previous publications include Jesus' Predictions of Vindication and Resurrection. Their Provenance, Meaning and Correlation, 1986; Das Evangelium des Markus, 2018; A Theology of Mark: The Dynamic Between Christology and Authentic Discipleship, 2012; and The Gospel of Mark, forthcoming.
