Reflections on Murder: Selected Short Stories of Nedra Tyre - Paperback
Details
by Nedra Tyre (Author), Bill Kelly (Introduction by)
Sixteen tales of murder, pre-meditated and unplanned, plotted and accidental, crimes of love, crimes of hate... with weapons as innocent as a box of candy, a darkened stairway, a bottle of sleeping pills, a second helping of cake-used to kill with only the best of intentions. These are stories that sympathize with the murderers, providing understanding and justification for their crimes.
As Bill Kelly writes in his introduction, "the stories in this collection display a wide range of styles and situational settings, pathos as well as humor ... Nedra Tyre presents a wide range of murderers and would-be murderers (and victims) and portrays them with subtlety and understanding."
Sixteen stories from the pages of Alfred Hitchcock's and Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazines... guaranteed to shock, startle and amuse.
