Book 2 of the Daily Ifá - 256 Odù Ifá Series explores Ògbè Òyèkú through its identity, characteristics, revelations, prayers, songs, proverbs, offerings, prohibitions, related powers, and ninety-one complete myths. The volume follows the Odù across Yorùbá and Afro-Atlantic traditions, where questions of leadership, danger, inheritance, family continuity, trust, disciplined action, and reversals of status unfold through divination and consequence.
Each myth includes cultural and orthographic notes, spiritual interpretation, divinatory implications, and a mythological and structural reading. Regional and liturgical forms remain clearly distinguished, and uncertainty is stated openly where a meaning cannot be established securely. Ritual and medicinal passages are presented in their religious and historical setting and do not replace guidance from a qualified practitioner.Materials + Care
